A garden at twilight comes alive with special sights and sounds. Once your eyes adjust to the growing darkness, colors seem to illuminate in a different way than in daylight. As the song goes, "Red is grey and yellow white..." This work is my interpretation of Mrs. Mellon's magnificent walled garden as night begins. Oak Spring Garden Foundation in Upperville, Virginia.
